1. Mix the surface on which you are running. Although Running tracks are best, its not always available.
2. Know anatomy of your foot. Foot pronation/ Flat foot are not good and may lead to knee/ hip/ ankle pain in long run.
3. Use of shoes specially designed for running will prevent foot pronation
4. Use medial arch support insoles for foot pronation
5. Hydrate yourself. Use electra powder/ oral rehydration solution
6. Warm up before starting and cool down slowly while ending your session.
7. “Shin Splints” Managed with Rest, Medications if required
8. overuse may lead to Stress Fracture
9. Take a Break!! Intermittent rest is important for body to heal/ regenerate
10. Safety is important.
